'Blaize The Blazing Fighter.'

 Blaize's personal bio:
Blaize was born on the planet Vegeta.  His mother was only a second
class warrior, but from the little that she talked about his father, he
gathered that he must be at least an elite.  His Saiyan name was Kerata,
and he was told that the name was chosen by his father.  Young Kerata knew
that his father would be watching him to see if he could live up to the
elite status that his father had achieved.  He trained furiously as a child
to live up to his father's expectations.

When the day finally came for his power to be tested, he was dubbed an
elite.  The next day, he met his father, a super elite named Gamma.  His
father told him that he was proud that his son had won elite status, and he
had his first assignment as a Saiyan warrior.  Kerata was to help conquer
the planet Nomo.

He was thrilled to be allowed to join the ranks so soon, because he wasn't
even 16 yet.  Gamma introduced Kerata to the elite team he was now assigned
to, and they left the next day for Nomo.  However, when Kerata arrived he
was horrified with the cruel and wanton destruction the other Saiyans
brought down on the planet's helpless inhabitants.  The battle on Nomo
wasn't a military action, it was a slaughter.  Kerata was grief-stricken to
realize that this is what it was to be a Saiyan warrior.  When the others
boarded their spacepods and returned to Vegeta, Kerata ran in the opposite
direction.  It was only by this foolhardy act and blind chance that he
escaped planet Vegeta's destruction.

When Kerata heard about Vegeta's destruction several weeks later, he rushed
back to his home planet to see if the rumors were true.  They were, but he
found that he did not mourn his home planet's home.  He decided that
this was the fate of a people who were completely uncaring for the
suffering of others.  From that day forward, Kerata vowed to become a new
person and fight to prevent the suffering of others who were not strong
enough to fight for themselves.

Kerata also decided to search the galaxy for other survivors of his race. 
He called up the logs looking for the last spacepods that had been outbound
from Vegeta.  He decided to work his way up the list from the last pod that
departed, so he set his course for planet Earth.

When Kerata arrived on Earth, he found a bustling, overcrowded planet with
no signs of Saiyan attack whatsoever.  He also found very few high
powerlevels on the planet.  According to the logs, the only Saiyan sent was
an infant named Kakarot.  Kerata shrugged and decided to land anyway.

The landing did not go according to plan.  About a minute before touchdown,
the compute in Kerata's spacepod went on the fritz and decided to eject
him.  Kerata fell to Earth and lost consciousness just before he hit.  When
he awoke, he could not remember his name.  He couldn't remember a lot about
himself.  He did remember something about Saiyans and protecting innocents,
but the rest was a blur.  He completely forgot about searching for other
Saiyans, but did remember that he had dedicated his life to becoming strong
and protecting the weak.

From what he could piece together of his memory, Saiyans were evil
creatures that destroyed whole planets.  He renamed himself Blaize, due to
his unusual red hair and eyes, and trained hard for the day that he would
have to face a Saiyan warrior, not realizing he was a Saiyan himself.
